Tucked away in a northern suburb of the Ohio state capital is the friendly city of Worthington, Ohio. The small city in Franklin County has a growing population of more than 13,000 individuals. Worthington was founded in 1803 by several New England families. Later that same year, Ohio officially became a state and people started pouring in from other eastern states. The town was named after Thomas Worthington, a man who became one of Ohio’s first senators as well as a governor after that.
